**Use your name as the seller # on item tags.

**Attach tags with safety pins (ONLY) on clothing itemsAttach tags at the left side of the tag so that baggers can easily remove the tag. All tags should be attached to clothing items on the front left side of the garment, with all hangers facing in a question mark.  Do NOT use staples, straight pins or tape on clothing.

**Sell ONLY Spring/Summer clothing at the Spring sale, and sell ONLY Fall/Winter clothing at the Fall Sale.  This will allow us to use our limited space most efficiently.  We reserve the right to pull out-of-season items if space is needed for in-season items.

**Put as many clothes as possible on hangers so they can be hung on racks by size and gender.  Most people do not relish the idea of having to pick through sloppy piles of clothing or items in order to find just what they are looking for.  Your tags are more likely to stay attached, as well as your clothing to be purchased, if it is neatly hung on a hanger.  Table space is limited and not designated by size or gender.   When tagging hanging clothes, here is the setup:  Holding the clothes in front of you, the top part of the hanger should be in the shape of a question mark.  Put the tag at the top right (still referring to as you are LOOKING at the clothes).  This will mean that the tag will be on the left-front of the clothes if you were wearing them.  (Hangers will not be returned).

**All clothing should be in clean condition.  Do not sell stained or well-worn items.  Do not cover up stains or holes with tags.  This gives our club and yardsale a bad reputation, and as anyone knows, word of mouth is the fastest and most effective advertisement that there is.  If this becomes an apparent problem with anyone, you will forfeit your privilege of being able to sell in future yardsales!

**All baby equipment, toys, games, puzzles, CD's, DVD's, videos, housewares, exercise equipment, etc. must also be in clean condition and good working order.  Remember how you would feel if you were in real need of a particular item, only to find it nasty or dirty or unusable because of the extreme thoughtlessness of the person selling the item.  If you have to wonder, or think twice if it would sell, DON'T SELL IT!!

**When tagging toys, carefully attach tags with a piece of sturdy tape along the left outer edge of the tag.  So that baggers may tear off the tag and retain all information.  For stuffed animals, attach with a safety pin, again, at the top edge of the tag.  For large items, fill out two identical tags.  Mark one tag with a large red X across tag.  Securely attach the X tag to the item in open view.  Attach the unmarked tag to the item with a piece of tape along the outer edge of the tag, so that it may be removed to take to check out.
